What I Do

As adults, we often carry the stories of our younger selves—our hopes, hurts, and the patterns we learned early on. My approach to therapy integrates a child and adolescent lens to help you reconnect with those formative parts of yourself, fostering healing, understanding, and resilience.

Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, processing grief or loss, or simply feeling called to deepen your self-awareness, I offer a compassionate space to explore your experiences and rediscover balance. Together, we’ll work toward insight, self-compassion, and meaningful change—honoring both who you’ve been and who you’re becoming.

About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 11 years of experience providing psychotherapy and clinical social work across medical, academic, and private practice settings. My clinical work is grounded in trauma-informed care, psychoeducation, and a commitment to evidence-based, integrative treatment that supports each client’s individual goals and strengths.

My experience includes working with adults, adolescents, and families in settings such as UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, Kaiser Permanente, and the San Francisco Stress and Anxiety Center. These diverse environments have informed a comprehensive approach that values collaboration, holistic assessment, and continuity of care.

Currently, my practice focuses on working with adolescents, young adults and adults navigating life transitions, grief and loss, and identity development, with attention to how early experiences influence present emotional and relational patterns. Drawing on my background in child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapy, I integrate developmental and psychodynamic perspectives to deepen insight and facilitate lasting change.

As a bilingual therapist (English and Spanish), I provide culturally responsive care that honors the intersection of language, culture, and identity in the therapeutic process. My treatment approach blends psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and strength-based modalities, incorporating elements of ADHD-focused interventions and psychoeducation when appropriate.

I hold a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University, with advanced training in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the New Center for Psychoanalysis in LA and ongoing professional development in Mind Development and Alterations From a Psychoanalytical Perspective in the University of Barcelona.

My clinical philosophy centers on fostering self-understanding, resilience, and meaningful growth—supporting clients as they navigate challenges, build insight, and move toward greater emotional balance and fulfillment.
